Rubicon was contracted to create a upscale Mexican dining and tequila bar in downtown Bloomington.  We teamed up with local group Third Eye Design to create a space full of amazing energy, great food, and unforgettable experiences.  The existing commercial space had previously been filled with various failed restaurants over the years, but our goal was to change the narrative, open the space up and create an environment, that when combined with modern spins on traditional Mexican dishes and an extensive cocktail and tequila menu, would have customers coming back over and over again.   Once you step into La Una Cantina you can feel that energy and it has quickly become one of Bloomington’s hottest restaurants.
